This is an Illustration I did of a bunch of blueberries, I wanted to experiment with making a pattern from my illustration.

The first pattern I made I tried to make a standalone square and repeat it into a pattern. Then to make the pattern flow more naturally I arranged the Illustration so each of the elements would repeat naturally and leave less negative space:
