This is an illustration I did of a gingerbread man, this is a personal illustration. I wanted to make an illustration for a piece of packaging, in this case a gingerbread mix. Whilst Illustrating the gingerbread man, I had the idea of making a repeating pattern with it.
I tried to make a seamless repeating pattern, using an illustration of sprinkles as an accent to pair with my illustration.
I then made a mock up of my pattern to show what it would look like on wrapping paper:
For using my illustration of a gingerbread man on packaging, such as a gingerbread mix, I decided to include two piping bags, and some sprinkles scattered around the gingerbread man. I wanted to help illustrate the process of decorating the gingerbread man, and to include some accents to go with the illustration.
