This illustration is a personal illustration of an orange. I wanted to make this illustration for packaging, in this case for a bottle of orange juice. I first started out by making a flat illustration of an orange, then to make the composition more interesting, I adjusted the direction of the orange and drawing in some orange peel underneath to make it look more like a physical orange. I then duplicated the orange and arranged them so they looked like they were floating and to make the composition look more dynamic.

I also decided to add some orange juice splashing behind the oranges, to add something more to the composition and make it look more interesting, and to make the oranges appear more juicy and flavourful.
